Laser Engraving
In 2016 I opened FreeFall Laser, a laser cutting studio specializing in collaborating with artists on custom projects.
In my own work, I use the laser cutting to explore new ways of working with materials by re-imagining drawings from my sketchbook.
Laser engraved Japanese paper
In these multi-layered laser-engraved prints, I transform drawings from my sketchbook into new interpretations of the landscape by using the laser to gradually shave away layers of paper, allowing the image to emerge from the surface.
